THE FUTURE OF JAZZ BEGINS HERE
B’Town Jazz sponsors an educational Jazz Jam series early in the year, open to students of all ages, levels, and instruments, particularly middle and high school students.
There is no charge and each jam session features a different guest educator. No signups are needed; just show up with your instrument on as many weeks as you are able to learn, practice, and experience performing in a club-type atmosphere! A rhythm section will be provided.
Regular attendees will be able to participate in the Future of Jazz Concert, Mar. 29 and may be chosen for a partial scholarship to a summer jazz workshop.
Dates: Sundays – Feb. 9 – Mar. 8, 2020
Times: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Location: Crazy Horse (214 W Kirkwood)
Culminating Future of Jazz concert: Mar. 29
Clinicians: TBD
